Choose the microphone YapClean should listen to.
Use the built-in practice field, then try one real field you care about.
Press CapsLock to start, speak, then press CapsLock again to stop.
Confirm the final cleaned text appears at the cursor.
LiveDraft is a preview-only widget behavior during beta. The final inserted text is produced after you stop dictation.
The cleanup layer
YapClean treats speech as raw material for text. It removes filler, self-corrections, repeated fragments, and awkward phrasing while preserving the meaning.
Beta privacy model
YapClean's current beta is BYOK. You connect your own OpenAI or Groq key for speech-to-text. Cleanup can use the selected text-processing provider, including the experimental Gemini path when configured.
Roadmap
Managed Pro is planned for users who do not want to manage their own key. Gemini is currently an experimental BYOK cleanup/formatting path, while Vertex AI remains a planned managed-infrastructure direction rather than a public self-serve option.
