Beta Access FAQ
Is self-serve checkout available today?
No. YapClean does not have public checkout or a public installer link today. Beta access and onboarding are handled manually.
Is Managed Pro live today?
No. Managed Pro is the planned $12/month option with 50,000 words per month. It should be treated as a waitlist path until managed model access and subscription checkout are actually live.
What does BYOK cost?
Bring your own key means you use your own OpenAI or Groq account/API key for speech-to-text and pay that provider directly for usage. YapClean's Free BYOK and Lifetime Pro BYOK plans do not include managed provider costs.
What happens if setup fails?
During controlled beta, contact founder@yapclean.tech if you cannot complete the first successful dictation after setup. Refund handling is manual during beta and no fixed public refund window is promised here.
Does LiveDraft type into the field while I speak?
No. LiveDraft is preview-only widget behavior during beta and may be incomplete. The final cleaned text is inserted after you press CapsLock again to stop.
Can I trust the CapsLock LED?
The CapsLock key starts and stops dictation, but the physical LED/state may not be the safest source of truth during beta. Use the YapClean widget state to confirm whether it is listening, cleaning, or idle.
Does it work across all Windows apps?
No universal compatibility claim. YapClean is designed for many Windows text fields, with testing starting in the built-in practice field and then one real app field you use often.
Is there a public download link?
Not right now. This website invites users to request Windows beta access; onboarding and delivery are manual.
