1. Scope of Privacy

This Privacy Policy applies to all versions of the YapClean desktop application and its associated web services. It details the minimal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.

When we say "we do not track," we mean it architecturally. Our systems are designed to function without requiring a continuous stream of personal behavioral data.

2. Telemetry and Diagnostics

What we collect

What we ignore

  • cancel Usage duration or typed content.
  • cancel Audio hashes, voice print, or API inputs.

3. Third-Party Interactions

Depending on the API provider you configure in BYOK mode (e.g., Groq, OpenAI), your audio and text prompts are sent to their respective endpoints according to your keys. We do not intermediate this data. Use of Third-Party LLM services inherently involves sending data externally unless you rely on the open-source Ollama local integration.
